First, we’d like to thank everyone who participated in this competition. It was a tough one that required a lot of work and we got some fantastic submissions. We’d also like to thank TechSmith for submitting three Camtasia licenses worth $900. It was a difficult one to judge as they were all so close but we’ve finally got the winners. Apart from XML websites, applications, wizz bang effects etc…Flash is pretty good as a vector tool. We’ve already discussed a little bit about vectors in Flash and even interviewed an author who does illustration in Flash. Today, we’ll take it a step further and create a logo in Flash using nothing else but the Line Tool {and the color tool of course}.

I hope you have heard of Road Runner and Will E. Coyote, they were one of my favorite cartoon characters as a kid. I dream of starting my own “ACME” corporation one day, with similar mail order gizmos. Anyway, back to the task at hand. We’re going to make a logo based on the actual Road Runner bird.
