A Little Bit of This, A Tad of That…

With information moving at the speed of thought in today’s world it’s hard to filter those bits that matter to you the most. There’s just too much…all the time.

Luckily, you have me ;-) .

I’ve compiled a little list of things that should probably make your mid week better, in anticipation for the weekend. So here goes…

Inspiration:

  1. 2010 Mustang mini site: You can feel the rush of a Mustang by just viewing a web page? Whoever thought that would be possible one day!

  2. Reva: I actually saw these cars in Hyderabad, India {where I’m from} in 2005 – 06. I wouldn’t mind owning one, next to my Mustang of course.
  3. WonderWall: Interesting scrolling gallery/navigation built with Flash.

Tutorials:

  1. Realistic coffee smoke effect: Does not use AS, though it might help for those people who like the old school methods.
  2. 35 tutorials to help you build Flash websites: A great place for our new/future authors to get a foundation going.
  3. Even more effects: Fire, smoke, transitions and more effects with tutorials here.
  4. How to create PDF files with PHP: Thought it help for creating your own “help” documents for your files.
  5. Simple video players using Adobe CS4 software: Embedded below -

Contests:

  1. PSD Fan contest: PSD fan is giving away $600 worth of prizes, of which $400 are GraphicRiver.net credits. All you have to do is subscribe.
  2. Just Creative Design Logo Contest: Jacob is giving away a free logo design contest to all those willing to donate a small amount towards the recent Australian bush fire incidents.
