Dead Dropping Flash

If you haven’t been keeping up with the Flash drops that Lee Brimelow has been making all over the world, well OK the U.S and Europe mostly, then you really should read his blog.

From hiding cryptic messages in BMP and WAV files to decoding ciphers the techniques used by him are quite fun for some and a challenge to others. Here in is the interesting part, I was amazed to learn that you can use ActionScript to retrieve hidden text in an image file!

I had NO idea that could be done. True there are other programs that can help you do that as well, but still that’s amazing.

So far Lee has had four drops, I’m not sure if he is going to have anymore in Europe. But if you are interested in getting your hands on a Master collection of Adobe CS4 {provided you’re in the area} then make sure you keep up with his blog, he might just have another one.
