Where Are They Now?

As time goes by you tend to look back and ask yourself, I wonder what person “X” is doing now? We here on FlashDen are no different. With over 100,000 members, and growing, we too experience those nostalgic moments and wonder to what a few members may have moved on to?

So let’s take a look back at 5 random authors from the early days of FlashDen, via the “Featured Files” section, and see whether they are still with us.

Where Are They Now?

Akwired a.k.a Flash Jedi

I’m guessing from the write up on his profile page he was around for the launch of FlashDen. With a total of 11 items and 631 sales Akwired does not seem to be with us anymore. In fact, I don’t think he hung around much after the launch. He does seem to be an avid buyer, so maybe he’s with us in that regard.

Butters

Butters has been around since August of 2006. His profile states that he “shall probably be returning soon!”, well so do we Butters!

His last file was uploaded on the 21st of December, 2006. He also has a few AudioJungle and VideoHive items up, though I suspect those were part of the original FlashDen categorization before Envato made those two properties.

Butters, if you are around leave a comment and tell us how you’re doing and what mystical lands you may have visited in your time away.

Gimbanzi

I actually remember him from the early days of FlashDen, in fact I bought one of his files. He does not seem to be sharing any more of his fabulous creations with us anymore even though he has gotten himself a silver paw.

His last upload seemed to be in June of 2007. I have to say some of his files are quite creative and could be best sellers even today with a little bit of marketing.

Well Mr. Gimbanzi, where ever you are I hope you are rocking it! Do send us a postcard now and then.

Rob Lewis Freelance

Rob was the first FlashDen cartoonist. Even though his portfolio is small it has some pretty creative work and was rated 5 stars for his duration of stay with us.

I’m sure if Rob had the time he would grace us with more of his creations, or maybe he’s too busy working out of his home in his pyjamas for Nickelodeon?

BigZ

BigZ is big alright! With just 9 files uploaded he has managed to rack up 1052 sales at the time of writing. Wow!

BigZ last uploaded an item in June of 2008. I’m betting he is stealthily working on his next file, the one that will bump his paw to Gold, single handedly! Wherever you are BigZ I’m sure you are not doing anything small.
