The Urbanism collection is great. I hope it will win the competition. My collection didn’t get to the final…
Good luck to all competitors!
Good luck everyone! Why is the poll using check boxes instead of radio boxes? How do you know which single one people voted for?
Im a little disappointed that not even one collection taken from fun and originality aspect didnt get it to the final as I think fun and originality should be main aspect for this competetion.I tried myself with my entries to be funny and originl but I found another at least 8 another entries which was really apart of others… I just expressing my opinion here and I know that you can disagree… but from my view all collections in top ten are same good but nothing original and no fun. Also I thought that just envato users with account will have right to vote – but now I see its public. How you recognize cheaters ? If somebody from winners invole bunch of friends or use proxy than winner will be not “best one” but ” one with most friends one” … ALso agree with AndyA – why thera are checkboxes instead radioboxes. Anyway despite my opinion I wish all winners to win – there is not better or worst – all are same good so … congratulations the one with most votes
I thought that all files will be voted and not only 10 of them!
Same here. Look at the good part. You some community work for Envato.
Anyway,a strange thing. If you look to the selected users you will notice no one has activity in here except EPICERA who is a guru in here.
Account created on march may may may jun July 2009 … I know it doesn’t matter that but in my opinion a good collection can be created by someone who really spent some time around
I agree with Adi4x, but you cannot get everything you want in life,
Chucks
Yup, some try, and try, and try again, but get nothing!
I see dralock have two entries in top ten…. I dont think this is very fair … just my 5 cents
Apart from originality, I think the admin collection is very useful. My vote!
Good luck to all!
Congrats to all who made it to the Finals! Good luck!
I think that anyone regardless of how active they are, on the site, could come up with awesome entries, if you ask me there were a ton of great collections I will use in future when I may be looking for something specific.
freakpower has a point.. Why a single user should get TWO chances (2 positions) in the finals? Is NOT fair!..

And, How did Finalist 8: “Web Designer’s Toolkit” and Finalist 3: “Admin, The Ultimate Collection” get approved for finals?
They have files priced over $25!! wtf, did the Rules suddenly change?!? I thought the rules stated: with files priced UP TO $25.00?

Anyway, a more useful collection would be an array of many different subjects.
For a $3,500 top prize, this contest just seems wrong in many ways..
..does anyone else feel this way, or is it just me?
Files up to $25 to 30 files per collection, only applies to the winnings of the 9 runners up.
I do agree that a person with 2 entries in the finals is kinda unfair. But tbh I don’t think it really matters, as people are going to vote for only one of their favorites.
I don’t think that the point of the contest was supposed to only showcase the usefulness of the files in each collection, but also show what kind of creativity can be seen from people entering the contest.
It says in the rule section on how to enter, the very first thing that is mentioned is to decide on a theme for your collection.
Seems pretty self-explanatory to me, so I think it may just be you.
..then it is just me
don’t mind me anyway, I have ADD
Circuitbomb: Well I think if there will be not 2 entries from one user than another user will have chance to win – so from that point its not very fair. There was 3.000 collections and all are same good – so there should not be problem for envato to choose one entry from each winning user instead of 2 same user entries …
Rjflash – I think it was really clear from rules. Envato pay 10 winning collections up to 30 files priced up to 25 USD per item… It wasnt mean that you have to create youir collection only up to 25 USD per item…
No point of voting if this is unfair…….
Envato is silent….
I voted for The Web Designers Toolkit – it’s the strongest in my opinion, good job to everyone on this list though, awesome collections!
Good luck to all of the finalists! I’m stoked to see my Web Designer’s Toolkit made it to the list, but there’s lots of strong entries here
