Build a Fluid Website Layout

A fluid web layout uses 100% width (and height) of the browser, floating all the contained elements into certain positions. This is opposed to fix-width layout where contents remain fixed no matter what the browser size is.
This technique is popular in HTML/CSS websites, but this tut will show you how to create a similar fluid layout effect in Flash. Every element will reposition itself with ease animation when the browser resizes.
Creating and Texturing a Cube in Away3D

We’re going to create a cube in the Adobe Flash (or Flex) environment using the Away3D engine. We’ll choose the necessary texture and superimpose it onto the cube’s faces. We’ll also make the cube rotate and rule the scene via a camera.

Develop an OOP Drop Down Menu Using ActionScript 3.0 Documents

In this, my first tutorial for Flashtuts+, I’ll quickly explain how to create an object oriented drop down menu. We’ll use ActionScript 3.0 and pull all the necessary data from an xml file.
The resulting menu can be used in any flash file without needing recoding.
